Let’s kick off the new year with a closer look at figma Black Gold Saw TV Animation version!
Black Gold Saw TV ANIMATION ver. would be among the new additions to the Black Rock Shooter line of figures for this year. Other announced releases include figma Dead Master TV ANIMATION ver., 1/8th scale Insane Black Rock Shooter, and even nendoroid Chariot, her prototype being showcased during Good Smile Company’s 300th Nendoroid Commemoration live broadcast 2 weeks back!
Horns are definitely longer this time, almost twice longer! For the original figma Black Gold Saw, she had to be put under a rather strong light in order to see deep red, but that is no longer necessary with the TV ANIMATION ver. as the red hue is much stronger this time.
The design of her King Saw has been significantly revised too. The blade may be shorter, but the branch component has been extended with a razor edge. The pommel remains as a skull, albeit the same color as the grip (smaller too?) and thus less contrasting than the one for the original figma Black Gold Saw.
Her bell-bottom sleeves and knee “guards” gets a nice refresh in the color scheme. The deep red color is simply lovely here!
Black Gold Saw TV ANIMATION ver. gets the same figma base as her original counterpart, meaning it would be the one with a 4-joint vertical stand to reach under her long hair and attach to her back area.
Her pre-orders should still available at all major hobby stores, and she would be released this coming March. Hit the source link for more snapshots!
