Preview snapshots: Nendoroid Miho Nishizumi

First announced during the Good Smile Company 300th Nendoroid commemoration event live broadcast, the uncolored Nendoroid Miho Nishizumi was finally showcased for the first time at Comiket 83 held in the final weekend of last December.

Miho is the protagonist/reluctant-comeback-kid in the series Girls und Panzer, where she was forced by the school’s student council to assume the commander role of the Anko Team for the Sensha-dō competition. The rest of the Anko Team is a bunch of cranky girls. Wouldn’t be surprised if Good Smile Company also releases the rest of the team in the near future…

Here, Miho is in her Oorai Girls High School uniform, adorned with a communications headset. Slinged around her neck would be her binoculars that is used to survey battlegrounds.

Nendoroid Miho would also come with the turret of the tank she operates. More specifically, this is the PZKPFW IV Ausf. D variant that was fielded before the competition finals, and armed with the short-barreled 75mm L/24 gun.

At this point in time, we do not know of any other optional parts that may come with Nendoroid Miho. I’m more concerned as to whether the final package would actually come with a full tank. Well, a complete tank is gonna rack up the price tag on Miho, but then again just having a turret is plain weird! If the turret is all that we’re going to get, then at least find some way to allow collectors to mount the upper-half body of Miho on the turret, so that we can display her posing like a tank commander! (Just thinking aloud…)

Miho is slated to arrive this spring, so we would have to wait for more news on her.🙂
